The
Course:
At 5,150 yards and par-68, the course is fairly short and
devoid of water traps, but the fairways are narrow and lined
with trees, so slices and hooks can lead to highly
exaggerated scores. The customer service is good and the
course is well maintained. Lincoln's 17th hole, which runs
along a steep ocean bluff and looks out onto the Golden Gate
Bridge, is routinely selected every year by a panoply of
national golf publications as one of the premier holes in
the world.
The
Experience:
Resident golfers
call Lincoln Park the best-kept secret in San Francisco. Not
only can you play an entire round for the same price as
dinner and a movie, but the course is as aesthetically
spectacular as any you'll find this side of the Sierras.
