The
Atmosphere:
The Bohemia hosts several different club nights, leaning
toward those with a European and Latin flavor, though the
occasional disco-tinged house night slips in. Shake your
bon-bon as you move between two roomy spaces, or just plant
it on a comfy chair next to the fireplace. The combination
of brick walls, cement floors and a disco ball doesn't make
for much of a coherent theme, but lines down the block on
the weekend ensure that the club is packed with warm bodies.
The Draw:
On nights without
scheduled events, when people of all persuasions wander in
off the street, the scene seems strangely random. Pool,
Ping-Pong and darts keep the random revelers entertained,
however, and a soundtrack that skips from the Offspring to
Paul Oakenfold keeps the hodgepodge crowd moving. Couples on
dates, college kids and neighborhood folk mix it up with
decent drinks and indecent conversation.
